FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Thorntail Tattoo’s minimum tattoo cost is $100 but each artist has liberty to choose their minimum tattoo cost. The minimum is determined off of the amount of money it costs for the materials needed to do even the smallest tattoo, as well as the time it takes to create the design and work collaboratively with the client.
The best way to book an appointment with us is to first, find which artist you would like to work with. From there you can contact the artist directly using their personalized form or call the studio and discuss the booking process further. You will be able to access all two of our artist’s portfolios, and contact information right here on our website in the Artist link.
Deposits vary from artist to artist and also dependent on the tattoo. A deposit is required to schedule your appointment, and is NON REFUNDABLE. If for some reason you need to reschedule your appointment, that needs to be done at a minimum of 72 hours before the appointment. If you reschedule before 72 hours your deposit will still be honored. If you reschedule more than one time, you may need to give another depending on the policy of each artist.
It's always best to eat a hearty meal and have a good nights rest prior to your tattoo. Hydration also plays a big role in the healing process and in the overall health of your skin before and after so drink lots of water and moisturize the skin! Please do not come in with self-tanner on your skin, or anything other than lotion.
Feel free to bring snacks, drinks, and any personal items along with you to make you feel comfortable. We provide snacks and drinks also!
